Matt joined UIP in 2024 as the Chief Financial Officer. In this role Matt is responsible for all financial aspects of the organization across the three business segments (property management, asset management/development, construction).
Prior to joining UIP, Matt was President of TM Associates where he set the overall strategy for the organization and helped implement several initiatives to support the growth from 8,000 to 18,000 units under management. Matt was also the North American Controller and Director of Internal Audit for James Hardie Industries, a multi-billion dollar construction materials company. Matt began his career at Arthur Andersen and PricewaterhouseCoopers performing assurance services for many clients.
Matt earned a Masters of Business Administration from The University of Southern California and a Bachelors in Accounting from Cal-Poly San Luis Obispo. Matt holds the Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, and Certified Property Manager designations.
