The Quincy is a 5-story, pre-war, residential property located at the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue NW and Quincy Street NW, directly next door to the New Hampshire, in the Petworth submarket. UIP’s $5.7 million renovation included the removal of the existing central heating plant and installation of upgraded and individual heating/cooling systems in each apartment, completely upgrading and replacing the electric service to the property and the apartments, the addition of 5 additional apartments in the lower level, the complete renovation of approximately 85% of the apartments, including kitchens and baths, redesign of the landscaping and all common areas, as well as individual metering of utilities.
