The Macklin is a 5-story, mixed-use property located between Newark Street and Connecticut Avenue, in the Cleveland Park neighborhood.  The $2.1 million renovation restored historic features including the original lead casement windows, ornamental limestone and glass block entryway. Modern conveniences include in-unit laundry, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and controlled access, in addition to upgraded HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Additionally, UIP managed approximately 6,211 SF of retail on the ground floor of the property.
