Cris joined UIP General Contracting in May 2023 as the Vice President of General Contracting. Cris has over 25 years of experience in the Maryland, Virginia, and DC markets, including estimating/pre-construction, project management, site supervision, procurement of new work, and operations leadership. The types of projects he has overseen include high-rise, garden style, podiums, wraps, and hybrids like Hambro system. His management included that of multi-family residential apartments and condominiums, retail, mixed-use, senior living, affordable housing, and commercial office projects. Cris’s responsibilities include oversight of all corporate functions, contract authority and overall responsibility for performance on new construction, renovations, and special projects.
Prior to starting his career in construction, he served in the U.S. Air Force as a United States Presidential Honor Guardsman and is a Desert Storm Veteran. Cris attended the University of Maryland University College with a major in Business Management. Cris is happily married for nearly 30 years with 2 children, and in his spare time he enjoys golfing, coaching, fishing, boating, and spending time with his family and friends.
